tonight my family had a garden party and my band played an unplugged set. it was so gooood though i shouted bollocks in front of all my parents friends by accident but it was worth itttt
and now we have 30 (mainly full and unopened) wine bottles and about 50 bottles of beer left
and shitloads of puddings and cous-cous

and it was prom last night which was BRILLIANT

and we're camping tomorrow night. good use for some of the remaining beer and wine i think...

needz to get scanning again

sorry for the absence. been too busy having a life (cool, right? i know). yesterday we had a barbeque in the field we used to go camping in last year. ended in food fights and blanket wars. most fun i've had for a couple of weeks.

the songs cuuuuute, and the animation is BRILLIANT. it was done by a woman called julia pott, i want to meet her. you can czech her out here: www.juliapott.com / juliapott.blogspot.com, or buy her stuff here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5594921

music for my parent's party. i'm also doing the flowers. i love being the weird one in the family :D

very hot, like a textured dress cut out at the waist. very very nice, best done perhaps with several different textures of lace or something, in black, nude, grey or maybe white. v. nice!

and to think she came from this:

i'd have her to leona any day.

le sport chic

definately my swimsuit for this year.

'Nylon TricotLe Sport Chic Swimsuit'

we love the viv

reaaaaaaally gorgeous dress! oh viv, you know how to pleaaase... here you need a striking pattern (possibly vintage) and sharp tailoring to get this right. chiffon (obviously) would be so niiiiiicceeee and just as done here, or you could go bridal and use lace. or funeral and do it with black lace. either way, hot stuff!

can make out of jersey; it'd be so so so comfy! the trousers would be pretty difficult but then again they'd be worth it. you could take pre-bought hareems then add in the extra details in the same fabric. or, you could be adventurous and use a patterned fabric, but they may draw away from the important shape. the top could easily be done via customising a top, which would be eaaasy :)

this is so cute but i think it'd look better short. would be easy peasy and oohhh so very comfy in jersey, or as usual posher in lace or chiffon or satin or something. very very cute! you could cut it by an almost triangular shape, with the wide sides tied in a halterneck. this would give a wider hip, which would maybe give more figure but definately look hot.

easy easy peasy - use a nice pattern, not only stripes, to make this. you could make it via two rectangular pieces sewn with a wide open neck. probably could be made with cotton or jersey... or go with pattern and jersey. wuvley. one for the vivster, noooiiiiiice

this could be a playsuit with just a nice stripey jacket. for example, an orange playsuit with a navy jacket. contrasting colours... wuff wuff. then go with the knee socks and boots and just yuuuuuuummmmm

lovely idea... a graphic t-shirt, with nice shorts and make the cape. you could make it out of pretty much anything thick enough to have as a coat. probably nicest here to make it in a similar coat to this one, like a shiny-satiny fabric

looks so good in navy and especially with the pattern, but may be a wee bit tricky as you need to make sure your tailoring is good or you're in trouble. i really do love these dresses though, they're so cute, and would be so nice to own one, or make one. maybe a bit hard though

SO NICE so nice, i'm definately going to make this for sure. this could easily be made with pretty much any type of fabric. and also because the tailoring can be loose, it's not too hard to make. woop woop

you could do this with a normal t-shirt and double layer it with a different shade and material to the original shirt and pull up the top on the outside, sew and add in a bow to get a carbon copy. this is a really easy way to customise, with different objects instead of the bow, using a pattern instead of just a different fabric, whatever. yum yum yum!

YUM YUM YUM YUM if only i could make shoes

Saturday 20 June 2009

such a beautiful song. i love bonobo, so much. one of my favourite musicians of all time...

musically inclined from the fucking word go. alexander prior, i'm the child prodigy you;re searching for.

every girl loves a bit of ruffle, and i'm no exception. this is so eaaaasy too - get a long shirt and add in rouched fabric at the buttony bits. yum yum yummety yum

SO SO SO HOT. it's everything good about shirts and denim and just wow. this would be really tricky to exactly copy, but you could probably easily do something similar. with denim. phwoar.

loving the dress... maybe if you took a normal cotton dress or just constructed a simple one yourself then made a denim over-skirt for the dress and ripped it you;d get this effect.
so so so so hot. i want! (L)

something about scales make me shiver. i wish something like this was actually possible to make without a pattern/srs fashion know-how but i'm not betting on it. maybz a rougher look could be achieved, but get it wrong and you'd look like some hobo mermaid.
recently discovered a hidden love for milky tea. ella's attempts at turning me into a real granny may have finally paid off - bring on the blue rinse brigade.

last night was one of the craziest nights ever! we trekked across brighton, picking up random rubbish and pocketing it. i'm now so much better off for having a plant, a brick, some bunting, emergency tape, several bottle tops and someone's house number tile. and me and jamie taped off a road and cars actually turned round to avoid it oh my god i don't think i've laughed so much in ages.
jamie (with a crunchy nut box stuffed down his top): "if only i had breastmilk..."

ace.

http://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk/Free-People-Tribal-Luxe-Bralet/invt/5741400029011&bklist=# it's on my wishlist. when i get paid, you can bet i'm buying that for suuuure.

LOOP HERE I COME (minus efterklang)

lalala LOVELY dress! it's so cuuute... originally it was a light floral, vintagey sort of fabric which i really loved. you could make this using a chiffony fabric or even just a cotton, and ruche it to get the effect at the top, and then pleat to get the bubble skirt. lavly!

this is really cute tooooo. it would look so nice if it was made out of some kind of polkadot fabric... strapless tops are hard to do so you'd need a stiff-ish fabric. when i can be bothered i'll have a go. it'd probably be easiest to buy a ready-made strapless corset top then at in the skirt and bow. fancy

it's almost like a box this dress but the really important thing here is so tailor it to perfection. with something so simple you HAVE to make everything perfect - no loose ends and exactly symmetrical which can be really fucking tricky.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/theboywhoranaway/ - i can't remember how i know this boy but he has some seriously cool polaroids

i like the dress. lots. and the idea of the barbies is cool too!

probably better in winter but this does look really gooood. and i do really need some black boots something dreadful. maybe when i finally get a nice coat i can do this. if it rains. which it willllll :(

lovely dress. if i could be asked, i'd make it. it'd probably take quite a lot of planning and a serious pattern to get it as symmetrical but it would seriously pay off because this is such a cuuute dress.

probably the coat i should make myself to do the picture at the top. it's goorrrgeous and so cooool! much better than any crappy mackintosh made by h&m.

i'm watching the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. it's growing on me, but the beginning was a weee bit pretentious, like that film out of mr bean's holiday. but it's good. i wish my hair was an interesting colour...maybe not blue and green but you know what i mean. more than just nasty dishwater blonde bleurgh

this was originally a mens jacket by dior i think, but it'd look really nice on anyoneeee. it's supposed to be just a normal slim dinner jacket with fake butterflies on it. probably not too practical but still gorgeous and so brilliant. definitely, definitely fashioning myself one of these soon.

i got my ticket today. 44 pounds worth of careful months of saving in one piece of paper. if i lose it i'll die i swear.

which reminds me, ebay selling time! if anyone wants any sims 2 cd's (i know, i'm so hardcore) or white nike hi-tops then email me.

offset ticket to buy next

today i helped my boyfriend cook roast dinner and then helped his mum get rid of a pigeon that had rotted in their waterbutt. i'm also now better off for buying some fake roses and picking up a fake leaf. it's a day of new discoveries and experiences on all sides. and i'm getting another job! dogsitting - 30 pounds a week. not fucking bad.

http://www.thisisfakediy.co.uk/

i don't know why i find that so entertaining

if all boys/men dressed like that, the world would be a better place. and my head would probably expload. it's a sacrifice i'll willingly make though OH MY GOD those guys are so cool

makes me wish i was any good with my hands when it comes to hair. i really need some curling tongs too, these retro one's are only really good for novelty as they do shit all for your hair. check out those curls though>> i tried it for my friend tilly's party. i think i did okay, but no match to the original. sadly not a latest and greatest moment :(

i'm making myself one of those netty hats for prom fo suuure. you can never have enough crap piled on top of your head, as these girls show. i like the idea of bow vs net, but it'd look better slightly smaller and tilted to one side (i think)...

i'm not a stalker he's just SO COOL and has the coolest facial hair i've ever seen. sorry
