:)

Just thought it was time for a bit of a change, hence the new header and (unless you'd already noticed) new songs on the side. I hope you like the new header, I drew it a while ago in a very boring maths lesson, I used to doodle those faces all the time and even drew them all over the back of all my c.v. envelopes to make them a little more unique, though maybe everywhere i gave them to saw the little drawings and thought 'my god she's a creep' and maybe that's why I haven't had a single reply yet... hmmmmm. I did have a dream last night however in which a I got a job in a library, mind you I also had a dream where i was an elf trying to escape with all my friends from one evil elf who had set up a society of white elves and black elves (I was part of the latter) and the white elves flounced around in high society and us black elves were running for our lives so maybe I should just ignore the dreams.

I was going to post a video but it doesn't seem to want to let me so instead here are some little pictures from when my cat and I explored my garden earlier, it's a bit of a jungle now my parents don't need to worry about us kiddies getting lost/hurt in it - we're just too big! Sadly Milo (my cat) isn't too fond of cameras so there are none of him, but we did find a little doll, see if you can find it (like Where's Wally!). Have a nice Monday! xxxxxxxx

gimme sympathy

I have just stumbled upon possibly one of the best blogs I think I have ever seen in my entire life. it's called (Diet) Coke & Sympathy and is dedicated to 'the Stones goddesses' Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg. Endless beautiful pictures of the girls, perfect indulgence for everything from the times that were much better than now. If only, if only... Here's some of my fffaaaavourites from Leith's stream of sourced photos. p.s none of these are mine, none of these are even hers but that doesn't really matter, what does is how spectacularly gorgeous they all are.

whereee

beautiful little 'where the wild things are' shot by viktor vauthier. so excited for the film!
******
i'm watching a film called a complete history of my sexual failures, it's seemingly a documentary film of this man and all his dreadful relationships, though he seems to be really awful to all the girls as none of them want to go anywhere near him, slightly odd but there we are. it's still quite interesting and will probably make you feel good about yourself since your ex-girlfriends haven't got kids or anything... either way you should probably watch it, it's quite interesting in a deliciously nosey way, which totally suits me because i'm a hideous busybody. EITHER WAY it's good.

xxxxxxx

these little beauties from the creators of rubbish mag are possibly one of the best ideas i've ever seen - little finger puppets of fashion designers! definitely definitely crocheting myself some; they'd make perrrfect little christmas presents for everyone, i could even do them...
if you want to get your hands on them, they're not available YET but they should be soon. get them from heeeerrrrreeee

in other news, there's now a beyond retro in brighton! it's a little tucked away, but it is quite big and painted bright yellow so if you know where to go you definitely won't walk right past. it's a little overpriced, though not as much as a few of the vintage shops in brighton which is nice, and their utter shit to gorgeous ratio is also a fair few notches higher than similarly priced shops, and the decor is utterly gorgeous; they even have a stuffed pheasant balancing above the tills. there's also a really pretty girl working there who always wears beautiful little dresses and a very friendly man, and it's an absolutely massive shop with pretty much everything in it so it's worth the priceyness i think.

but after i'd gone to beyond retro i met up with edie who had sadly been stood up, and we went to cafe nero and jaymay came on on the stereo. she's a cutesy little singer from new york and her album is amazing...

'ill willed person'

'you are the only one i love'
